How about a good old round up of what I’ve been wearing lately? It’s been pretty warm here and we are expecting record highs this weekend. Every now and again there’s a cool breeze that reminds me it’s still spring. I love this because it means I can layer!

My Lifestyle

My clothes have to fit my lifestyle and while that seems like, duh, of course, it’s not that simple. I am a girl who has always loved a great suit, heels, a fabulous dress. But working from home for the past 8 years AND getting older have taught me that my lifestyle is more in line with elevated casual pieces. I have slowly cleaned out my closet and have been replacing things that no longer serve me. I have also learned to be okay with spending a little more on casual pieces.

Sunday - here’s what I wore to church! I also decided not to wear make up that day. I love this boxy oxford and drop waist skirt.

I wore this on Saturday to the Orange and Blue Game at UF. I love these pants so much and now I need them in more colors! This shirt is a favorite but I cannot link to the exact one because it was a clearance find at TJMaxx. Amazon has one that looks so much like it!

This maxi dress is what I wore on Friday. I worked from home and had to run to get a 2nd opinion on my torn rotator cuff. Praise Jesus the 2nd surgeon said he would not recommend surgery. I am starting PT today! What a relief!

I love a good maxi dress like this! It’s cooler than shorts and so comfortable. The fabric on this feels like Spanx Air Essentials. It comes in lots of colors!

Here’s what I wore on Wednesday to take my mom to a lunch appointment. I love this dress! It’s comfortable and versatile. I didn’t think this would work on me because of my body type so I was pleasantly surprised when it did! I’m showing it with and without a layer.

On Tuesday night we went to a college baseball game. Their colors are black and gold so my leopard pants were perfect or wait they were purr-fect! Ha!!! These are the $17 viral pants from Walmart - I cut them hem. Also? Sorry about the circle that appears on my right boob - it’s from a suction cup phone holder I had on my mirror. UGH.

So there you have it, this is what I have been wearing lately. It’s no different from what I share on social media. I don’t have two wardrobes and I share what I really love.
